Installation
All horse walkers or horse exercisers must be installed on a concrete slab for safety.
Below are the installation specifications for the slab to properly fit our walking machines. If there is a pre-existing slab that is similar to the one below, please call for suggestions on how to adapt it to accommodate your new horse walking machine.

- Make slab 54" x 54"
- Electrical is from edge of slab
- Use 2 x 6's for form
- Leave bolts 4" above concrete slab
- Dig holes for bolts 2' deep or more
- Make sure you square bolts when putting them in slab
Measurement between A & B should be the same as C & D with your 37 x 46 measurement
1. Decide location for walking machine. When installing multiple machines leave approximately 50 feet between slabs and 25 feet from any other structure.
2. Determine where you would like the door on cabinet and lay out bolt pattern to fit your liking.
3. Build form from 2 inch by 6 inch boards.
4. Raise forms 2 to 4 inches above ground, then level and square forms, We raise forms high so later if you want sand around machines it will not cause a problem.
5. Dig a minimum of 2 feet by 8 inch round holes under where the bolts are to be located. Pack dirt around outside of form almost to top. Then clean loose dirt from inside of form. You should be ready for concrete.
6. Put re-bar diagonally from hole to holefor strength.
7. Use 5/8 inch by 16 inch long anchor bolts, galvanized, with a 4 inch leg and 4 inches of thread.
LEAVE ALL 4 INCHES OF THREAD ABOVE CONCRETE. See diagram

8. Figure about 3/4 of a yard of concrete per slab.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Locate electrical and determine if you need a single pole or a 3 way switch, when machine is located between 2 barns. If putting a fence around walker you can put switch on pole. Use #12 wire with a 20 amp breaker for each walker. Put a receptacle through the slab per diagram. Bottom of receptacle box should be 4 inches from slab. Use 1/2 inch PVC or galvanized pipe from slab to switch.
